"Pata Pata Pata Pon" which on the psp is box, box, box, circle, sends them marching forward. " Pon Pon Pata Pon" cirlce, circle, box, circle, cause them to attack by swinging swords, axes, shooting bows, throwing spears, so on. For every successful battle, the Patapons give you offerings. This is definitely an original game. You gotta have rhythm otherwise you won't make a very good god. Fight your way through monsters, or the Patapons sworn enemies, the Zigotons. There are multiple species of Patapons. There is the Hatapon, who protects the drum. Meden, who is the oracle that speaks to the mighty Patapon( Aka you ). Yaripon, the spear wielders. The Yumipon, Archers, and the Tatepon, shield wielding warriors. Very fun, and very addicting. Patapon can be found used at your local gamestop for $17.99. America will soon see the release of Patapon 2, which should feature multiplayer options.
